After enduring such a rough patch prior to the BC Tournament, there was extra cause to celebrate.

“Losing four in a row is never fun,” said senior Will Merriman. “However, I’m proud of the guys for staying confident in us as a team and for getting this W.”

The trophy was not the only recognition bestowed on the Braves from the BC Tournament. Senior power forward Liam Eberhardt was named to the team of the tournament after a strong showing. And freshmen sensation Maui Sze was named tournament MVP after averaging 15.0 points per game.

“Maui has taken the league by storm,” said junior shooting guard Hunter Redmon. “I feel that this won’t be the only award he gets before he graduates.”
