In the new 2017- 2018 season of Bowling at Bishop Blanchet, coach and advisor, Toby McGill, leads one of the biggest bowling teams seen at BBHS into their upcoming season with striking scores.

On Wednesday November 29, the bowling team had a match, the scores were as followed, Morgen Loesch had a whooping 132, Gianna Marchese had a grand score of 128. Lindsey Rappe had strikes upon strikes, while Gigi Gallaudet set a all new personal record.

“I love bowling,” said senior Greta Geivett. “It is so great to watch our team continually grow in both size and talent! We are looking forward to a fun and competitive year.”

The Bowling team has an incredible size of 70-80 players this year. Each of these players are divided into a co-ed group of four to five players. During a match, these teams will rival one another.

Members of the team note how wonderful it is watching all the teams have fun on the lanes and improve their scores and skills.”Bowling is a blast and the players are all so nice!” Mr. McGill said after a quick minute conversation. He was fanatic about how much he loves bowling and seeing his teams prosper in skill and all while having fun bowling.

To catch one of these exhilarating games, be at Spin Alley from 3 to 4:30 on the day specified for the match. You can find these dates on Bishop Blanchet’s website under the activities category in the one titled Bowling.
