JV Baseball completed another week of games during this past week of March 19th – 23rd; the team had 3 games scheduled but, only was able to compete in one against Banbridge.

The JV team traveled over to Bainbridge on Wednesday, March 21st, to play against Bainbridge. The JV boys fought hard, but eventually lost 2-4.

“We have been doing okay our past few games, but we can definitely do better,” said freshman Matt Acarregui. “I hope we can do better over break, pulling off a few more dubs (wins).”

The other two games the JV baseball was supposed to compete in was against Rainer Beach and Kamiak. The Kamiak game, was going to be held at View Ridge was rained out by the spring weather. Unfortunately, for the JV team, Rainer  Beach does not have JV team to play against ours.

“We’re doing good,” said Gabe Palmer. “Hard work with lots of passion, and it should pay off!”

JV Baseball has games on the 26th and 27th of March both at View Ridge. On Monday the 26th, BBHS will compete against Ingraham and on Tuesday the 27th BBHS will compete against Ballard.

“Baseball is a great form of entertainment,” said junior Megan Acarregui. “Maybe that is just because I have grown accustomed to loving it after going to so many games!”
