Trump, seen here with German chancellor, Angela Merkel, and British prime minister, Theresa May, has chosen to pull out of the Iranian Nuclear Deal. This move not only affects The United States and Iran, but also our other allies, among them Germany, Britain, China.

On Tuesday, May 8th, President Donald trump made the decision to withdraw from the Iran Nuclear Deal.

“I am announcing today that the United States will withdraw from the Iran Nuclear Deal,” said President Donald Trump.

President Donald Trump declared on Tuesday that the United States will no longer be a part of the Iranian Nuclear Deal, a shock to some and an expected move by Trump for others.

From the start, many people thought it was a bad deal and put a cap of ten years for Iran’s  nuclear testing. Many believed that Iran would cheat the system and do the testing anyways. Others thought the deal was the only solution to keep Iran from turning to nuclear weapons.

The United States has paid Iran billions of dollars not to build nuclear weapons, but Iran will not let sits be inspected without prior notice, which allows for Iran to conceal what they do not want seen.

“It is clear to me that we cannot prevent an Iranian nuclear bomb under the decaying and cotton structure of the current agreement,” said Trump. “The Iran deal is defective at its core. If we do nothing we know exactly what will happen.”

Trump will be putting in new sanctions regarding the deal. According to Trump, the Iran deal was suppose to protect the United States and its allies from an Iranian nuclear bomb. Trump called the Iran regime liars and called it out for sponsoring terrorism around the world as Iran continues to be an instigator of terror in the Middle East.

“My thoughts on the Iran Nuclear deal is that we should alway be extending diplomacy with Iran and other countries, not just the middle east. Iran is a unique situation because we really intervened in their country affairs for many years leading up to the Iranian Revolution and so it is important that we work to mend the mistakes that we have made.” said Mr. McGill. “I do understand what Donald Trump says how it is unfair to Americans in some ways, but we still always have to be working towards peace and less weapons.”

By pulling out of the deal, Trump increased tensions with European allies and the Iran Regime, who claimed they would not consider another deal if the US pulled out of the Obama-era deal. Trump does not agree with the deal because he thinks it’s one sided and Iran will continue to test nuclear weapons.
