Bowling Team Comes Rolling Through

Bishop Blanchet Bowling Club keeps the ball rolling as they continue into their season, improving scores, getting strikes, and avoiding gutter balls.

The highest scores of the practices and games just keep on improving! Back In December before Blanchet’s winter break, Jane O’Connor had a massive score of 144, while Kyle Scott had 131, and finally, Alise Vanderzanden with 120.

“My team is doing well,” said junior Kyle Scott. “We won all three of our games and remain in 1st place.”

Back in school this January, the braves kicked it right off again with a match on Wednesday, January 10th. Bowlers killed the lanes with their elevating scores. Both Jane O’Connor and Christina Savio scored a 132. Michael Muzenburg scored himself a nice 123, while Marne Orson got a lucky 101.

The stats of the team so far this season are that Jane O’Conor and Lindsey Rappe are the highest scoring bowlers and their team (including Kyle Scott) is the highest ranking team.

Molly Miska came within 10 pins of the record high for BBHS girls!” Mr. McGill stated. “And Alise Vanderzanden has really improved.”

Bowling team will play strong until their playoffs begin on January 31st. May the best team win.
