Jacob Kabalin, part of the class of 2026, is joining The Miter as a staff writer, and he is especially into pottery, bugs, and cats. 

He’s interested in covering what goes on with the Cybears team, as he was part of the robotics team for two years and helped them win the Imagery Award both times. He’s done cross country, mock trial, robotics, sound and light, and esports. I’ve helped the Cybears progress in their competitions, helped set up school events and assemblies, I’ve run decently good cross country times, and I’ve had my art displayed in the BBHS art show every year. 

His goals for the class this year are to take some photos, write at least one of the entries going into the yearbook, and to help with the layout and design of the yearbook. He wants to include the Cybears and other extracurriculars that might not be as popular as others but still just as fun.
