Maddy Walls, a senior class of 2026, is excited and thrilled to be contributing to The Miter this year as a staff writer.

She has participated in the musical since her freshman year, as one of her favorite hobbies is dance. Some other interests include baking, hiking, watching F1, cheering on the mariners, and spending quality time with friends and family. Throughout her high school years she has been able to accomplish a lot including: dance captain, leader of business opportunity club, getting a job, and much more. 

For journalism this year, Maddy Walls hopes to dive deeper into the world of journalism as she has never written for a paper before but looks forward to creating stories that will leave an impact on her audience. Along with that she is looking forward to creating a memorable yearbook that many can enjoy for future generations.
