Oliver Shutt, a sophomore, joins the Miter as a first-year staff writer. He always love to hear what others have to say and he love telling stories just as much. He is always excited to meet new people so if you see him around, know you are encouraged to introduce yourself or say hi. 

Outside of school, Oliver is an older brother to my two-year-old baby sister Lucia, and my six-year-old energetic brother Grayson. Oliver loves boxing, eating good food, seeing new places, and spending time with the people he cares about. His favorite show he has ever watched was Prison Break, and his favorite movie is Fight Club. If anyone has any good recommendations he would love to hear them.

Although he has been a student at Blanchet for less than a week, he is sure this year will be a good one. Oliver is excited for all of the new friends and memories, and is also excited to share some stories he hopes lots of students will enjoy and discuss with each other.
