Senior Ryen Bergman is excited to join the Miter family. She enjoys writing and can’t wait to bring her enthusiasm for it to the paper. She loves to talk to people and gain more insight into certain perspectives and experiences.

At Blanchet, Ryen is one of the captains of the Cheer Squad. She loves being able to lead the school spirit of Blanchet’s rowdy student section as well as being a leader for the squad. Her favorite subjects in school include English and any sort of art class. She hopes to write about the music and fashion communities and enthusiasts throughout Bishop Blanchet, as she is passionate about both things and wants to know more about how they are reflected in the student body. 

This school year, Ryen is looking forward to discovering more about the Blanchet community as well as the larger community of Seattle. Discovering new perspectives is a goal for her this year, she hopes to have many interactions and interviews with the community.
