The last home kick of the season

This week the Braves soccer team battled hard during two games. The Braves played Franklin again this season and fell short 0-2. Brushing the loss off, the braves battled continuously through the second game of the week against B Island. Unfortunately the Braves lost 0-3.

“This season has been full of emotions” said sophomore Jacob Parsons, “we have played a lot of good teams, but our unit as our team is definitely the best in the league.”

Throughout the season the Braves have come up short in a lot of games, but they will continue to strive towards more wins and hopefully metros.

“We have a resilient group of young players” said coach Ryan Camden, “this year that play to win every training session, every game.”

On Friday the Braves will go against the Garfield Bulldogs for the second time this season. The Bulldogs have a very experienced roster, but that does not worry the Braves. With their strong unity as a team the Braves look forward to scoring on the Bulldogs in an epic rematch.

“This week is our last home game of the season” said junior Will Karges “I’m just looking forward to the ending the last home game on a high note. Hopefully we get a good turnout with our fans.”

The season is coming to an end, if you have not yet watched the Braves takeover the field this season come out to Mickey Naish Field at 7 p.m.
