Bishop Blanchet defeats Eastside Catholic one last time

On October 28th Bishop Blanchet Jv football took on Eastside Catholic, ending the season with  a 27-24 win . Many players such Nick Kleiss, Henry Johnson, and Quinn Mackay put out their best effort and contributed to a great end of season game.  Throughout the game there were two onside kicks which worked in Blanchet favor.

 

Quinn Mackay is one of the many players that made a large contribution to the win. He scored a touchdown in the second quarter and made an outstanding interception that sealed their win. Along with Quinn Mackay, his teammate Henry Johnson made some great plays throughout the game. He started off the game with multiple rushes along with three touchdowns.

 

“Even though the season is over I’m glad that I have seen the team grow tremendously,” said Coach  Domonic Salle. The team had a great season with almost being undefeated, They have improved so much since the beginning of the season. With the season at an end the whole team has grown closer and have made lasting friendships along the way.
