Sunday morning, September 20th, a group of BBHS seniors embarked on a pilgrimage throughout the Green Lake community.

The Braves kicked off this spiritual journey with a mass in the school chapel led by Fr. Gordon Douglas.

Following this mass the group began walking while one student carried the cross down the street to Green Lake and east to Cowan Park.

Over the course of  the 4-mile pilgrimage, many student speakers gave reflections, including senior Evan Larson whose passionate speech struck a chord with her peers.

Larson implored the group to “live with unconditional love” and “to not be afraid to walk together”.

The pilgrimage concluded with a BBQ and a cruise later in the evening to begin creating bonds for the year to come.
