The boys 2015-2016 swim season may be over, but this isn’t the end. Districts start this Friday February 19th and continue to the 20th.

For senior swimmer Rob Lorentzen, the bond between teammates and other schools made this season a special one.

“It was the most fun, competitive, challenging, and rewarding season of my four years,” said Lorentzen. “There is such a great bond between all the guys on the team and between all the teams in the league.”

The team not only had a great season, but the freshman also showed great talent early on in the season.

Freshman advancing onto districts are Alex Oishi, Evan Zverev, and Michael Lin. The lower classmen have showed great talent and initiative as told by Senior captain Robbie Lorentzen.

“As far as the future of the team, the amount of talent on the team is insane, this paired with how young it is. It can only mean more success in the coming years,” said Lorentzen.

Freshman aren’t the only ones on their way to districts, Arthur Wesley (11), Jack Shrader (10), and Lorentzen are all advancing to districts as well.
