JV Boy’s soccer was a score!

Heading out onto the Georgetown field, the Braves were ready to put their best foot forward and keep the O’Dea Fighting Irish boys in check on the field.

The game ended with a 4-4 tie between the Braves and the Fighting Irish, but the Braves never quit.

“The first game was tough for us”, said freshman Willem Jansen, ” We were up 4-1 in the second half, but they were able to come back and tie the game.”

Despite the Fighting Irish’s punch to the finish line, the Braves never gave up.

They will have the opportunity to finish their season against the Irish again and the Braves in hopes of finishing what they started.

“It was tough for our whole team,” said Jansen.

With the correct mindset the Braves JV team will be able to come together and finish their season with a bang.

Recognizing what they need to improve on and putting in 100% effort into every practice will help the Braves advance in their skills and team record.

“Going on to the rest of the season, I think it will go pretty well,” said Jansen.

Coach Busilacchi and his team compiled of freshman and sophomores, play their next game against Seattle Prep on March 23, 2016.

Seattle Prep, a known rival, will have no idea what hit them when the Braves step out on the field.
