Walking into an English class you can take away a lot more than you would think.

In English class, Grady Dittmaier was in a lot better mood than usual. When asked why he had such a big smile on his face, Grady said that his baseball team had been playing a lot better lately.

The JV Baseball team for Bishop Blanchet focuses on improvement. At the start of this week, the team’s hard work towards improvement is starting to show.

“We won our game on Monday,” said Dittmaier, “our coach was so happy, he almost gave us practice off!”

Rain or shine, the JV Baseball puts everything on the field.

On Monday, April 11, The JV baseball team faced Bainbridge, at Bainbridge.

“We were catchin’, divin’, and makin’ plays,” said Dittmaier.

The team had a successful night of defense and offense, ending with a total score of 7-0.

The team hopes to use the confidence gained from this game and apply it to the rest of the season.

“Honestly this game made me a lot more excited for the rest of the season,” said Dittmaier.

The rest of class Grady could not stop talking about his love for the team and baseball. Grady is excited to get back to practice and push himself to get as much out of this season as possible.
