After falling to Bainbridge on 12 April, 2016, the team looked to pick up momentum and get back on the right track.

Unfortunately, the Prep offense was on fire from the start, scoring 4 goals in the first quarter and keeping the ball on their side of the field.

Defensively, Christian Peterson and Lucas Gordon stopped multiple goals and showed outstanding effort.

“It was a tough loss,” said junior Gordon. “I genuinely think we will make a comeback next week if we practice hard.”

Offensively, junior Jack Manca scored first for the Braves and helped the team gain some enthusiasm in the second quarter. Freshman Forrest Snorky also added two goals and continues to be a star offensive player for the Braves.

“We tried to finesse this game, and came up short,” said junior Stephanos Buhler. “We’ll get the win next Monday if we keep up the positive effort and play how we know we can.”

The team looks forward to playing Nathan Hale on 19 April, 2016 at Adams Field.
