Ultimate Frisbee teams prepare for Spring Reign

The ultimate frisbee team has been having a great season so far, and both the coach and players are very optimistic.

Both teams, the boys team and the Co-Ed team, have played two games, and each has won one game and lost one.

“It’s different for the teams this year, we’re in the top division, which is somewhere where we’ve never been before,” said coach Brett Hecko.

On April 23rd, they are going to compete in the Spring Reign, the biggest ultimate frisbee competition in the state, with dozens of teams from high schools all over Washington competing.

“That was a tough loss we had to Roosevelt, but it’s a fun season and I’m hoping we do well in the Spring Reign,” said senior Austin Cornell, who plays on the coed team.
