The JVC volleyball girls have been working hard and it’s paying off.

Their season’s started off 4-0, and their teamwork is bringing them success every game.

“We’re really excited about future games because we have a good group of girls who all work well together,” said coach Kim Reese-White. “They’re very cohesive with one another, and they create a good group atmosphere with their teamwork. The girl’s are fun and competitive and seem to be looking forward to the season.”

The girls seem very enthusiastic to be a part of the team in their first year in high school.

“We played really good in the past few games,” said freshmen Casey Campbell, “and we play really well together.”

Campbell said she was looking forward to bonding as a team and going undefeated together.

When asked what her goals were for the season,  she said getting better and being ready for next year’s tryouts.

Another player, Hannah McFarlane, seemed to be excited; her favorite part about being on the team is playing with a great group of girls and growing and building skills as a team.
