On March 13, 1997, several mysterious lights appeared over Phoenix, Arizona. Now known as “The Phoenix Lights”, the unexplainable sight shocked many who saw the event in person or on the television. This event caused a rise in UFO speculations and theories.

The movie, Phoenix Forgotten, tells the story of three teens “Josh, Ashley, and Mark” who traveled to the desert shortly after the incident, hoping to document the strange events occurring in their town. They disappeared that night, and were never seen again. Josh’s older sister is determined to find new evidence about her brother’s disappearance. Twenty years after the three teens disappearance, unseen footage has finally been discovered.

“The movie was really different than anything I’d ever seen before,” said Makenna Martin. “I believe in the idea of aliens and life outside of Earth, so this movie was very entertaining for me.”

Phoenix Forgotten takes a real life event and uses speculations to create a twist on the average supernatural movie. Especially do to its home-movie style of filming, the movie really get the audience to feel and experience the same things the three teenagers are.

This movie is decent and would definitely appeal to those who entertain with the ideas of the supernatural world.
