The JV Boys’ Soccer Team lost 3-0 against Lakeside this past Monday, May 1st.

Although the boys did not achieve their desired outcome, they still worked hard as a team and gave it their all.

Sophomore Striker Aidan Bullard notes the strength of both the midfield and the defenders during the hard-fought game.

“Our midfield possessed really well throughout the game,” said Bullard. “And the defenders, Samuel Natel and Chris Champagne, had some really good stops.”

Junior Leonard Hicks IV, a superfan of JV boys soccer, viewed that even when losing, the boys were still determined and hardworking throughout the game.

“They did not stop their determination,” said Hicks. “(I’m) very proud of my boys because they worked hard and played well.”

Junior Lucy Yates says that even with the loss, the boys should not let that get them down and use the game as a moment to focus on what they can work on.

“I am sure it was a moment of growth for the boys,” said Yates. “I know they will use this game as a learning experience to do better next time.”

The boys play O’dea this Thursday, May 4th, on Mickey Nash Field.
