On Friday September 15th, the Braves Varsity Football team defeated the Juanita Rebels in their third game of the season with a final score of 32-7.

The game was undeniably dominated by the Braves, who gained a total of 329 yards, compared to just 52 yards by the Rebels. They were pleased with the victory, especially after coming off a rough start to their season.

“It feels amazing… gotta bounce back and we did,” says senior running back Justin Brown.

Blanchet’s defense was consistently tough throughout the entire game, prohibiting Juanita from getting a first down until the final minutes of the game.

When asked how the team prepared, Justin said, “We worked hard all week, ya know, watching film… and never taking plays off.”

The team continues to anticipate their next opponent and practices every day on Mickey Nash field.
