The Bishop Blanchet High School girls Varsity Volleyball have been focused on working on getting better as a team and they currently have a 2-1 record.

About four weeks into the season, the volleyball team has been committed to working as a team and growing closer together to help achieve their goals for this season.

“We want to beat everyone in the Metro league and hopefully make it to state,” said senior hitter Olivia Zumdieck.

The girls have good chemistry and have been having fun on and off the court.

Senior captain, Katie Merrywell, is very excited with how the team has been playing and can’t wait to see what this season has in store for them.
“We have been working hard so far this season and we hope to win some more games,” said Merrywell.

The team has been working on making improvements in their playing skills individually and as a team.

“We have been working on communicating and learning how to play with each other since it’s still so early in the season,” said Merrywell.

The girls Varsity Volleyball team plays Holy Names on Monday, September 18th at Holy Names Academy at 7:00pm.
