On thursday night September 14, varsity girl’s soccer made a comeback from their past season.

They played a tough game against East side, with a score of 4-1 with goals from senior Gigi Gauladet, junior Caroline Burdick, and sophomores Kara Cunningham and Evy Alveno.

Blanchet’s varsity girls soccer beat the Crusaders in a tough game. Defender Rory Knowles kept the other team from making goals and pushed herself past her limits to keep herself and her team happy.

“I’m really happy with how we played, we tried our best and we played as hard as we could,”said Knowles.

As they move forward with the season, they hope to win more games and make it to state once again.

“We played really well, we beat a really hard team and I hope we can do it again,”said Knowles.

The team plays again tonight against Nathan Hale at Jane Addams middle school at 4:30.
