Boys’ Golf Starts Out Strong

The Boys’ Golf Team started out their season with a win against Cleveland on Wednesday September 13 .

The following Friday, they lost to a very talented Lakeside. Ryan Moore, Joe O’Connor, and Ben Van Hollebeke led the way for the Braves against Cleveland.

Captain Jack Brush sees a bright future for the team, and feels confident that they will go to Metros this year.

“The team is very hard working and determined,” said Brush. “We have great fun playing as well as practicing.”

The golf team has four upcoming matches in five days including Bainbridge and Garfield High School. Players are to be dismissed at 2:10 today.

“Our upcoming games will really show the hard work that we have put in,” said Bush “We hope that our fans will be proud.”

Their next game is at Jackson Park Golf Course against Chief Sealth on September 22nd at 3:30 PM.
