Last week was a week full of effort and success for the JV girls soccer team. With composure and strong effort, BBHS won against Hale and suffered a tight loss to HNA.

On Thursday, September 19th, against Holy Names, BBHS played well in the second half but lost five to four.

“I thought Holy Names passed the ball well”, says sophomore Kate Williams. “We dominated the second half of the HNA game. In the first half, everyone was really scared and psyching themselves out, but then in the second half we had a good talk and almost tied it. We played with composure in both games.”

Last Thursday, against Nathan Hale, BBHS played with dominance and strategy, which led to the victory of 6 to 2.

“We had control of the entire game,” says sophomore Doriana Hasselbalch, “Hale just booted it up field.”

With two strong games, BBHS JV girls soccer sees a bright future in their season, showing major improvement already.
