JVC Volleyball Continues to “Kill” it

The JVC Volleyball team continues to “kill’ their season and are continuing to improve with each game.

Their record for the season is now 5-2, and they most recently beat Seattle Academy. They fell short in two matches against Seattle Prep and Holy Names, but are eager to play against both opponents again later in the season!

“The girls that I play with are all driven to succeed in this sport,” said Captain Mae Skokan, “and when we all come together we are just working towards making this happen”.

The girls have set their goals for the season and are continuing to meet and build on them each week by progressing as a team.

“I think a great success of both mine and the team as whole would be how much we have improved skill wise since the beginning and how we have just gotten a lot closer”, said middle blocker/hitter Elise Delen. “Doing something you love with people you have grown with and become closer to makes it that much more enjoyable.”

Elise focuses on contributing to the team by keeping a positive attitude and always trying to give each practice, game, and moment her 100%.

The girls play next Wednesday, October 4th, at Bishop Blanchet at 5:3o pm.
