On Thursday October 5th, the varsity girls soccer team took on the West Seattle Wildcats at Walt Hundley Playfield, the Wildcats handed the Braves a tough loss of 3-1.

With one goal scored by Makayla Weston the team feels they could have played better against the Wildcats.

Senior Captain Gigi Gallaudet wasn’t too happy with the loss, but isn’t losing sight of making playoffs.

“It was a minor setback,” said Gallaudet. “Nonetheless, we will make a comeback and we are incredibly hopeful of making playoffs, don’t sleep.”

The Wildcats are not in the Braves Metro Mountain League which means the Braves are still undefeated within their own league.

“Technically we are still undefeated,” said Senior Captain Ellie Schober. “The Wildcats were a tough opponent and we hope to come back better and stronger next week.”

Despite the loss, the Braves are looking great this season and won’t let the loss affect them on the field or as a team.

The Braves play next Tuesday, October 10th against Eastside Catholic at Eastside Catholic at 4pm.
