Principal Procopio Reminisces Homecoming

Georgia Costa, Reporter

Homecoming week has been a memorable Bishop Blanchet tradition even since our new principal Mr. Sam Procopio was in the shoes of a freshman.

As a 2000 alumnus, Procopio remembers homecoming week as a week full of excitement and fun.

“I don’t remember anything significant that isn’t happening now” says Procopio, “I remember it being a very fun week with lots of excitement.  I remember having fun that week!”

The homecoming week always concludes with the big football game and the dance in which Procopio remembers being a big deal and traveling to football games.

“I remember homecoming dances being a big deal,” says Procopio, “I can still remember who I went with and what the themes were! It was great to see so many people on our campus for our big win vs Ballard on Friday.”
