Dining at Flintcreek Cattle Co.

Zebiba Denning, Reporter

FlintCreek Cattle Co. is a new and modern restaurant in Greenwood, Seattle.

Their mission is “at FlintCreek Cattle Co. is to serve premium meats sourced from well managed small-scale farms and ranches that produce responsibly raised, pastured, grass fed animals without added hormones and antibiotics.  We want our guests to experience lean meats with bold flavors in a fun and inviting atmosphere.  We were inspired by the free range cattle and cattlemen roaming the golden hills of Western Montana”.

FlintCreek Cattle Co. was founded by Executive Chef Eric Donnelly and Operations Manager Christy Donnelly.

Last Saturday I went to FlintCreek with my mom. I had the Anderson Ranch Oregon Lamb Crepinette with hazelnut romesco, caramelized romanesco, and lemon-herb salad. My mom had the Durham Ranch Bison Hanger Steak with roasted walnuts, shallot, cashel blue and onion marmalade.

The food was amazing, as expected with the price of the meal and hype around the new restaurant. The decor and vibe was very modern and trendy, yet still cozy.

“It looked like a barn that had a five million dollar renovation” said my mother.

I highly recommend FlintCreek Cattle for a special dinner or date night but I personally believe it is too expensive for a random casual dinner.

FlintCreek Cattle located on the corner of 85th and Greenwood is open Monday through Sunday from 4 pm to 10:30 pm. Make sure to make a reservation!
