Boys’ Tennis Season Tips Off

Following up on a fairly successful 2016-17 season, the Boys’ Bishop Blanchet Varsity Tennis Team is optimistic about the potential for another season that will produce the same result.

Last season, the Braves only lost two matches the entire regular season, the first to Bainbridge High School and the other to Lakeside.

“The expectation hasn’t changed,” said junior Becker Bejan. “We expect to go out and win every time regardless of who we play.”

This competitive mindset is shared by the team as a whole and there’s no expectation to stop the programs success.

“I think that we have a special group of guys this time around,” said junior Felix Schuler. “We have a lot of new faces this year, but each one of them is talented, and I don’t see why we shouldn’t have a great season.”

The Brave’s season tips off on March 13 at 3:30 p.m. in an away game against Rainier Beach High School.
