JV soccer sees a bright future

The Bishop Blanchet Boys JV Soccer team is 1-1 in the first few weeks of their season.

The boys on the team had a rough start with many new players and being forced to learn to work together as a new team.

Geoffrey Blaylock says that the team is looking good and they might even have a real chance to beat some of the top teams from last season.  Joshua Baron also believes that they will have a successful season.

“Based on practices though,” said Baron, “we seem like we’re gonna have a good year.”

Blaylock hopes to play and start in every game of the season and hopefully be moved to varsity next year.

Baron hopes that he can be a good asset to the team and help them make it to Metros.

Another player on the team, Kealan Hawk, is looking forward to their game against Ballard High School, their biggest rivals.

The team has another game on Tuesday against Bainbridge Island on Bainbridge Island.
