Ava Schneider, a senior, joins The Miter this year as a staff writer. A fun fact about Ava is that she loves to travel and see new places. Her favorite trips so far have been her visits to London and New York City.

Ava is a member of the varsity softball team here at Bishop Blanchet High School where she pitches. Ava also plays club softball, enjoys surfing, and going to concerts. Her favorite artist that she has seen in concert is Stevie Nicks.

Ava is excited to learn more about journalism this year and getting to write articles to help inform her peers about events going on at BBHS and in the world. Ava can’t wait to make the most of her senior year and hopes that contributing to The Miter will be a positive way to end off her high school career.
