Olivia Horner
Olivia Horner is a junior in the class of 2027 and a staff writer for The Miter. A fun fact about her is that she is on the cheer squad, where she enjoys performing at games, encouraging school spirit, and building strong connections with her teammates. Cheer has also taught her commitment and leadership, which she values in many areas of her life.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys going on walks and runs, which help her stay active and clear her mind. She also loves baking, a hobby that allows her to be creative while sharing something special with others. These activities give her a healthy balance of focus, discipline, and fun outside of school.
This year in journalism, Olivia hopes to grow as a writer by improving her reporting and storytelling skills. She is excited to capture the excitement of school events, highlight student voices, and create articles that both inform and inspire readers. Through her work on The Miter, Olivia looks forward to learning, challenging herself, and contributing meaningful stories to her school community.
