Sydney Janik, Reporter
As a first-year reporter for the Miter, senior Sydney Janik gets her news from various members of the BBHS community. She enjoys talking to both students and staff for varied points of view on topics involving Blanchet and its community. During her time as a reporter, Sydney plans on exploring both storytelling and photography for which she is very excited. Sydney is always happy to listen and have a genuine conversation with those she's interviewing.
Sydney enjoys reading, art, and listening to music, she also plays volleyball and is a part of National Art Honor Society. She also enjoys spending time with friends and being an active member in her community.
This year, Sydney is excited for both her AP Art & Design and Journalism classes as well as Racial and Ethnic America with Mr. McGill. She hopes to learn more about photography and strengthen her journalistic writing as well as talking to new people more and getting acquainted with interviewing.
