Girls JV soccer started with a big kick and a big bang with a record 10 freshman on the JV team.

With the new faces the team looks drastically different, yet many on the team are still confident in how the team will do this year.

The JV girls soccer team started with a canceled game that was scheduled against Issaquah High School. Their first played game was on the road against the Ingraham Rams on Thursday September 12. Leaving everything they had on he pitch,  and then some against their bitter cross town rival Ingraham, the team finished the game 3-0 .

Many Varsity soccer players have said how much they’ve been looking towards JV as the future of the BBHS program marveling on how much they matured right in front of their eyes.

“It’s been going well,” said senior varsity defender Alex Ruiz. “We’re very excited for JV soccer this year and we see their potential. Its like I’m looking in a mirror from 2 years ago.”

This win is a very good sign for the times to come for the JV girls, and this momentum should help for their next game on Tuesday, September 17 against Nathan Hale for their first home game at Mickey Naish Field.
