JVC Girls Basketball has won five of their eight games so far this season. After a three game winning streak against Bainbridge, Chief Sealth, and Garfield, the girls took their first loss against Seattle Prep losing 32-12.

The two games following their first loss continued an unlucky streak for the freshman Braves, taking two more loses in their games against Meadowdale and Shorecrest. After their Shorecrest game, the girls got back on their game and beat Garfield yet again. The latest game occured on January 6th, which was played against Belleuve, and after a great effort, they won this close game with a final score of 44-42. 

The next game will be played at home on January 13th against Holy Names Academy.
