Valentina Staunovo is a senior at Bishop Blanchet High School. She has always had an interest in journalism and is excited to be able to try it herself. Valentina actively gets her news through sources like The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, though she also likes to see what Twitter has to say about trending topics. Valentina is especially enthusiastic about world events and the lives of her favorite celebrities.
As a first year student at Blanchet, Valentina is seeking out things to get involved in throughout this school year. She has been very fond of Friday night football games at previous schools and hopes to find her way to a few this school year. She also hopes to join a few clubs and overall just immerse herself in the Brave life.
Valentina hopes to have a successful year in journalism and write articles that are meaningful and helpful. She would like to deliver news with honesty and provide insight into events happening within the Blanchet community. She hopes for articles to include student thoughts and opinions and make everyone feel as connected and informed as possible.
