With winter comes winter sports. Blanchet Girls JVC Basketball season has begun and the games are in full swing. 

The first game for the team was against Bainbridge on December 6th at Bainbridge. After many practices, this was the girls first time playing an official game together. 

The girls beat the nerves that came along with the first game and worked well together throughout the game. The team ended up with a 41-19 win. This game left Coach Nicole Froland feeling proud and demonstrated the teams hard work thus far. 

“The season is looking bright for the little Braves” said Coach Froland. “This group works hard and has a lot of fun.”

 With a successful first game, the hopes are high for the games to come in the remainder of this season for the girls.
