Twenty year old, Louisiana born rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again has been topping the streaming platforms following his release of his explicit mixtape “ ” on Friday, February 21st.

This new mixtape comes only a couple of months after the rapper’s last mixtape, AI YoungBoy 2, which reached number 1 on the Billboard Top 200. With a record 144.7 million on demand streams, Young Boy is set to destroy those records with his new mixtape. According to Apple Music, the rapper already has all of his songs from his mixtape in the top 25 searched on Apple Music, with 5 songs in the top 10.

Undoubtedly, the rapper’s top hit off of his mixtape is the single “Lil Top”. With the single being number 2 on Apple Music’s “Top 100:Global”.

“We didn’t know that NBA was going to release an album so quickly after his last one,” said junior Gabe Palmer. “But with “Still Flexin, Still Steppin,” and specifically his song“Lil top,” you can’t go anywhere without people talking about how good the album is.”

NBA Young Boy has deviated from his normal flow of talking about his past to a more reflective tone to his music, rapping more of his life of riches and what has changed up and switched up in his life.

“The [depth] in his voice with the new album is something we haven’t really heard from NBA, especially Lil top,” said senior Harmona Yared. “But you can still bump the songs in your car to have a good time just like his past songs.”

The mixtape is available for hard copy and all majors streaming platforms and is set to be his highest charting mixtape ever.
