Boys Hoops Falls In Tough Road Matchup

The Braves boys hoops team hit the road and took their talents to Roosevelt high school in a tough matchup with the Roughriders.

A 4 quarter battle gave fans an entertaining and thrilling game that came down to the wire, as Roosevelt barley edged out the Braves 67-65.

The Braves were led on offense by junior Chris Frost, who tallied up a career best 23 points. Lester Sauvage also impressed the active crowd, as he hit 5 threes. Senior Hunter Redmon also put in 8 points of his own.

With the loss, Blanchet falls to 3-2 on the year. After a 3-0 start, the Braves faced a trio of talented Metro teams in Seattle Prep, Roosevelt, and West Seattle, who they will play Friday.

The Braves are back in action Friday evening in the Ernie Rose Gym to take on West Seattle. Tip Off is set for 7:30 pm.
