Ultimate Frisbee in Downward Fling

Fan favorite BBHS ultimate frisbee has had a slow start to the 2018 season, as the Braves’ competition, such as Rainier, Beach has featured some of the most elite programs in the state.

Junior Cole Siebert took note of the competition.

“We moved up a division this year, so it has been rough,” said Siebert. “But we will continue to be focused and grow as a team and get some wins at the end of the season.”

The Braves also lack experience on the roster, as a fresh new group of players took the field for the Braves this year. Junior Caroline Burdick took note of the inexperience on the Brave bench.

“Most of us are pretty new to the sport,” said Burdick, “so it has been a slow start.”

However, Burdick, among other BBHS ultimate players, are keeping an optimistic mindset.

“We have great school spirit and everyone is giving great effort,” said Burdick. “We just want to go out and have fun.”

The BBHS ultimate squad is in the right mindset, and through hard work look to finish the season on a strong and memorable note.
