Adela Rimkus, Reporter
Adela Rimkus, a junior, joins the Miter straight away as she begins her years as an upperclassman. She gets her local news from different resources like KING 5 and KIRO 7. She gets her national and world news from BBC and CNN news.
At Blanchet, she’s involved in many extracurricular activities, including the swim and lacrosse team, and challenges herself with classes like AP Language and Composition with Mr. McFeron. Outside of school, she works and spends her free time hanging out with friends and family.
This year Adela is working in journalism to not only improve her writing skills, but to make sure everyone is included. Her main goal for journalism is to give everyone a voice and to make sure no one feels like they are being unfairly represented.
