Gracie Kindred, Editor
Senior Gracie Kindred, second year reporter for The Miter, gets her news from the students, teachers and members of the Blanchet community. As a reporter, Gracie asks many questions and a huge part of her job is listening. Another important part of her job is observing and providing the Blanchet community with stories and facts.
A life-long athlete, Gracie loves basketball, golf, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, and is a year-round softball player. Currently, she runs cross country for Bishop Blanchet and will be doing softball in the spring. Gracie also loves to read and watch movies. Spending time with friends and family is Gracie’s favorite thing to do. In school, Gracie’s favorite subject is English with Albes, American Government with Mrs. Shapiro, Audio Engineering with Mr. VanDuinen and of course, Advanced Journalism. She transferred to Blanchet her sophomore year and she is very happy to be here and be a part of the BBHS community.
After being new to interviewing last year, this year she looks forward to being comfortable with the interviewing process. She looks forward to helping create the yearbook for this year along with being a co-editor for both the school paper and yearbook. She is excited to continue learning about journalism and help provide the news for Blanchet!
