The Braves soccer team fell short to Bainbridge last Friday, but came back stronger to beat the Ingraham Rams 3-2. They played an amazing game and shutout the defense of the Rams allowing the Braves to get a one point lead on them. This is the second match up of the season for the Braves and Rams.

“It was a good game” said Zach Walls, “we played together greatly as a team. I was so proud of the team as a captain, to have played Ingraham at the start of the season and to beat them the second time around.”

This week the Braves also played the Rainier Beach Vikings for the second time this season. Earlier in the season the Braves came out on top of the Vikings with a 4-2 win. This Wednesday the Braves met the Vikings again, but this time fell short losing to the Vikings 0-5.

“I don’t believe this was a discouraging game” said Chris Condon, “we just had an off game we didn’t play that well.”

This was not seen as a setback for the Braves, but another learning experience to evaluate as a team. The boys soccer team program takes it game by game to continue to press forward throughout the season.

The Braves will take on the Franklin Quakers on Mickey Naish field under the lights at 7 P.M. On Monday April 25th.
