Christmas is coming, get your gear

Christmas is coming quickly, which means Christmas dress up days are in the near future. Get your Christmas spirited clothes out of the closet because you are going to need them. The week of dress up goes as followed:

The celebration begins on Friday, December 11th with a Christmas Hay Day.  Dust off your Santa hats and elven beanies.

The officially kicks in on Monday, December 14.  It’s pajama day, so grab your pj’s sweats, bath robes, slippers, and moccasins and relax through the Unified day schedule.

Tuesday celebrates Christmas in July.  Wear your Hawaiian shirts and your warm weather clothes.

Wednesday is a Blanchet tradition: Ugly Sweater.  Hot chocolate will be served in the cafeteria at 8:30,  so show up in your new or vintage ugly holiday sweater.  If you don’t have one, a Seattle Prep sweatshirt will suffice.  Wednesday will also offer you the chance to get your picture taken with Santa at both lunches.

Snow Day happens on Thursday, December 17th. Grab your parkas, hats, snow boots and warm clothes.

Friday is Christmas character day, with each class having a different theme.

  • Seniors: Santa & Mrs. Clause
  • Juniors: Snowmen/ snow women
  • Sophomores: Stars
  • Freshmen: Elves
