The Brave’s girls JVC basketball team took down the cougars of Holy Names in their second game of the season.

The game was very back and forth, the final score being 24-20. Sadie Cowden had the most buckets for the girls with 7 points total. This win contributes to the girls  2-0 record.

“Holy Names played really good defense and we had to adjust to their style of play,” said Cowden.

In a previous interview, Head Coach Lisa Olsen said Holy Names would be some of the Brave’s biggest competition for the season. It is clear that Olsen’s focus on the fundamentals in practice is paying off.

“The 12 frosh are at different skill levels- I am excited to see how they progress this season,” said Olsen.

In the team’s first game of the season, they took down Marysville Getchel at home. They hope to see some fans at their next home game against Woodinville on December 14.
